Jack Richardson , 100, peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the Butler House at Martha Coker Greenhouses in Yazoo City. with the funeral service at at First Presbyterian Church in Yazoo City with burial following at Glenwood Cemetery. Richardson was born on October 30, 1917, to Lucius Lamar Richardson and Olive Price Richardson in Yazoo City.
Her parents were Ellis Carson Ford and Yuleen Brashear Ford of Kentucky and Tennessee. Roark in 1946 and moved to Yazoo City, MS, in 1954, where she spent most of her adult life and raised her children. Gene was very much a woman of faith and an active member of First Baptist Church Yazoo City where she served faithfully in numerous capacities, many of which involved children and youth. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church for 88 years.
